Tantra Vinyasa Yoga Teacher & Breath Facilitator

Nancy began her Yogic studies in the Ashtanga Vinyasa tradition in 1992 before moving to Costa Rica to follow her dream of living a more simple life in deep connection with nature. Nancy has completed over 750 hours of Yoga Alliance Teacher trainings and has been influenced by various methods and traditions. Yet it has been the challenge of overcoming one of life's greatest tragedies and losses that opened up the inner-door to her heart and has allowed Nancy to infuse and channel her teachings with great compassion, confidence and joy.
Her Tantra Vinyasa classes, a style unique to her particular way of sharing and combining the creativity of Vinyasa Yoga method with her passion of Non-dual Tantra, contain a myriad of elements including Tantric techniques, powerful breathwork, and modern expressions of yogic arts. This unique fusion of awareness & embodiment practices come together to create a highly educational, physically challenging, and deeply soulful experience. Each class explores not only creative vinyasa sequences guided by principles of alignment, but offers Tantric practices of Mantra, kirtan, pranayama, and other techniques for awakening our inner fire, stabilizing the mind, and expanding our capacities on all levels.
Nancy has been practicing Yoga for 30 years and teaching for more than 20 years. She is a fully initiated Tantrika by her Yogarupa Rod Styker and his Guru Pandit Rajmani Tigunait, Ph.D. in the tradition of Sri Vidya. Nancy and her family created and operated Pranamar Villas and Yoga Retreat on the beach in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica for 15 years. She teaches daily yoga classes, workshops, teacher trainings, and retreats all over the world.
Nina DeRoberts
Yoga Teacher
With over two decades of dedicated practice, Nina brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for the transformative power of yoga. Beginning her journey in 2003, she has immersed herself in a variety of yoga styles, including Ashtanga, Baptiste, Tantra Vinyasa, and Hatha yoga. After completing her first 200-hour Teacher Training in Mysore, India in 2017, Nina continued to deepen her knowledge with two additional 200-hour trainings under the mentorship of Nancy Goodfellow in Costa Rica.
Her studies have expanded into a wide range of disciplines, including yoga anatomy, philosophy, and the integration of functional movement, as well as the exploration of the nervous system and functional neurology as they apply to yoga practice. Currently, she is further expanding her skill set through the study of Katonah Yoga, a system that blends the use of anatomical principles with creative alignment and sequencing techniques.
Nina believes in the power of yoga to restore balance, enhance mobility, and cultivate awareness. Her teaching reflects an ever-evolving synthesis of Vinyasa, Hatha, and Katonah yoga, with an emphasis on functional movement, mobility, and holistic bodywork. She encourages students to cultivate a practice that supports both their physical and mental well-being, while remaining adaptable to the needs of the body and mind.
